Info about Cnet‘s next Reporters’ Roundtable just came through my feeds and it’s on a particularly favourite topic of mine: end user licensing agreements. In the lead up to the podcast Cnet has released a dramatic reading of the Apple iTunes EULA (Mac, PC) read by Richard Dreyfuss. Funny and telling though it may be, I wonder if Cnet/Dreyfuss got permission to infringe the copyright in Apple’s EULA? It is a literary work after all. :p (although as yet I haven’t bothered to investigate if it’s the EULA for iTunes 10.2.2 or 10.3.1 which was released two days ago just downloaded iTunes 10.3.1 and checked the EULA and on a (admittedly) quick glance it seems the EULA hasn’t been updated for 10.3.1).
