mark vaile, leader of the nationals, is demanding disclosure by labor of the details of their prefrence deal with the greens. seems like can’t-stand-others-having-secrets attitude to me. they’ll announce it when they want. but i do take his point that “…Rudd should now come clean on any policy changes he has promised to the Greens.” steve fielding wasn’t as nice about it.
i really wish that the general voting population had a clearer idea of what these types of preference deals actually mean. it can get quite complicated.
